Job Description:
- Manage and guide a team of Structural Engineers/Designers
- Prepare Project plan and proposals for structural jobs.
- Handle Structural and Design team for Telecommunication structures, like Lattice Towers, Monopoles, Guyed Mast, Foundation Calculations, and its Mount Analysis in both Greenfield & Rooftop Structures using Design Codes in UK/Europe (BS codes / BS-EN Codes & Eurocode 1, 2 & 3) and US (TIA-222G, TIA-222H, ANSI & AISC).
- Review of formal Reports in Global Design Checks (GDC) up to Level 3 and Tower/Mount Analysis reports.
- Review the manual calculations for structures as performed by the Engineers.
- Responsible to deliver design and drawings as per customer specifications.
- Responsible to handle reinforcement/modification conceptual sketches for the structural detailer/CAD drafter to develop into design/fabrication/Construction drawings.
- Inspects work in progress to ensure conformity with Customer specifications and requirements, UK/US/Canadian/Europe Codes, Standards and Procedures, and provides technical advice to resolve problems.
Preferred candidate:
- Preferred candidate with sound knowledge in structural analysis and design of telecommunication towers.
- Capable of performing structural analysis and design using MS Tower / Open Tower / RISA 3D / ETABS / SAFE.
- Meets deadline, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.

Job description
- Person will be responsible for the Design of FTTH/FTTP network architecture (Aerial & Buried) and OSP Network planning to stimulate end to end fiber connectivity, delivery, and construction to residential and commercial buildings.
- Person will be responsible for High-Level design (HLD) & Low-Level Design (LLD).
- Person will be responsible for plan and design of backhaul, front haul and optical distribution networks.
- Attend weekly meetings with Level 1 QC team to discuss design considerations/queries & work completion metrics.
Required Candidate profile
- Hands on experience on HLD & LLD FIBER PLANNING & DESIGNNING in UK clients.
- Tool expertise primarily on Q-GIS.
- Good knowledge on FTTX, FTTH, HLD Planning and Designing & LLD Planning and Designing.
- Good knowledge on UK Telecommunication projects in Fiber platform.
- Should have experience on preparation of BOM, BOQ reports.
